My first Project life share…

Ok so lets get this blog rolling.. I know I promised a few posts ago that I was planning on getting better at keeping my blog current and updating you on my going ons, well one of the things I want to post more regularly is my project life. This is my first year actually doing it.. I have done the first week of a few years but then I always got overwhelmed and stopped. I am planning a post on what I am doing different this year to actually help myself keep “caught up” or at least not feel overwhelmed about it. But to start I thought I would just share my most recent project life layouts. Maybe you can guess some techniques I am doing to not make it overly complicated?

For both these spread I used Studio Calico’s Sugar Rush project life kit. I have been getting Studio Calico project life kits monthly for more than a year now and only now really starting to use them.. sigh. I am pretty sure I have hoarded enough project life stuff to complete 2 or 3 years of it.. and yet here lies only a few weeks.. haha typical! Anyways, I am excited how they have turned out… no these are not the only weeks I have done… and will share more with you soon. Now that I have a solid plan and have a few weeks under my belt that I can go back at look at I am super excited about the possibility of having a completed project life album at the end of the year!

Have you had failed years of project life?

  1. These pages are absolutely beautiful! You have a great style. I like how much bold contrast there is, and the combination of color, black/white, and text. Very well done. Can’t wait to see more! :D

  2. Love this size for PL! I work with the 12×12. With our family of 5, I’m not sure the smaller size would work but I thought to do this size just for me! (where would I find the time for that?! ha!) Love the writing on the photos too!

  3. I read a lot of interesting content here. Probably
